Ed brought 10 years of retirement planning experience with him when he joined Savage & Associates in 1988. While his area of focus is in qualified plans, he works with individuals and businesses in creating a well-balanced portfolio. He also assists small businesses with their employee benefits in life, disability, and health insurance.

Experience

After a number of years in religious ministry, Ed was able to bring his listening and counseling skills to the financial services industry. He has extensive formal education and quickly earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. He is also a registered representative Walnut Street Securities and is thus able to serve a broad and diverse clientele.

Education

Ed earned his B.A. degree from St. Meinrad College and his M.A. from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He did graduate work at the University of Notre Dame and earned his CLU and ChFC designations in 1985.

Personal

Ed and his wife, Toby, live in Perrysburg, Ohio. Their grown children live nearby, so they are able to see them and their grandchildren often. Both Ed and Toby are very active in social justice issues at the local, state, and national level. Ed is a strong supporter of the MS WALK. Ed continues to volunteer time to his church and the community.
